Dr. Vohra has been associated with disabled persons since 1973 by providing them artificial limbs and other facilities. Inspite of their disability, these persons had the desire and the initiative to serve the society.

This prompted Dr. Vohra not only to introduce these persons with disabilitys to Rotary but motivated them to be part of Rotary through Rotary Communiity Corps (RCC),  which is a group of volunteers who do not have to be members of a Rotary club but share Rotary’s values and commitment. These disabled persons are now applying their own skills to serve and to improve the quality of life in their communities by being active  members of RCC of Panchkula and RCC of Dadumajra which were sponsored by Rotary Club of Chandigarh Midtown.

This has been an excellent way to introduce the community to Rotary, through disabled persons, and probably this is the only unique opportunity in the Rotary world where disabled persons have been brought to a Rotary platform. The third RCC Dr. Vohra has got sponsored by Rotary Club of Chandigarh Midtown is the RCC of Khuda Ali Sher, where its members are also committed to serve the community at grass root level.
